Despite not being able to serve the community in the face-to-face fashion that we’re all accustomed to, Chef Stephan Bogardus of the Halyard has found a way to reach out to his usual patrons and newcomers alike. You may not be able to go to your favorite restaurants or bars, but Chef Bogardus will be coming to you via instagram.
Every weekend The Halyard is going live on Instagram for virtual classes hosted by executive chef Stephan Bogardus and general manager Derick Erwee. They will be demonstrating techniques on how to make a French-style omelette as well as teaching you everything you need to know about vinaigrettes and salads. The cocktail classes will focus on gin and shrubs and tonics. These classes will be about 10 to 15 minutes long and will include a question and answer section. See below for times and topics.
